Things to Do in Cascade

Nichols Creek State Wildlife Area is a wildlife area in Cascade. Our 612-acre property features coldwater seeps and spring runs that form Nichols Creek, which then becomes the North Branch of the Milwaukee River. Anglers can find naturally producing brook and brown trout in Nichols Creek, a Class 1 trout stream. We manage the property with lowland woodlands, shrub-carr, restored prairies, grasslands, and northern hardwoods to support diverse wildlife species throughout the year.

Long Lake Recreation Area is a lakeside park in Cascade. We offer two swimming beaches, a fishing pier, and nature trails, plus 200 campsites for our visitors.

Vu's Garden is a flower garden in Cascade where we grow dahlias and other flowers. We also offer flowers for purchase directly from our farm.

Mill Pond Park is a park in Cascade. We offer a playground, a half-court basketball area, and a pavilion, alongside access to Mill Pond for fishing, kayaking, and canoeing. Our park also includes street parking.
